Tip #4 Use it or Lose It
You’ve probably heard the phrase “use it or lose it.” This is especially true when it comes to your body. Muscles will atrophy if not used daily. Bones will become weaker if not stressed and challenged. Joints in your body will start to lose motion if they’re not exercised regularly i.e: frozen shoulder. This includes the joints in your spine. You should stretch your spine on a daily basis (you can ask us to email you stretching videos if you’d like). However, some of your spinal joints are very hard to stretch on your own so getting adjusted regularly becomes extremely important to maintaining proper motion so you can have a healthy spine.
As you can imagine, it’s much easier to KEEP your spine healthy than to UN-DO previous damage. That’s why we love adjusting children! They can avoid developing the problems that most adults have when they initially start chiropractic care.
