Tip #1 Be mindful of your posture daily

  • When you’re driving: have your seat back in an upright position. Put a small pillow or towel behind your lower back.
  • When you’re using your smart phone or hand held device: keep it at eye level so you’re not looking down at it.
  • When you’re working at a computer: take frequent breaks (every 30 min) to stretch. 1. squeeze your shoulder blades together, 2. look up at the ceiling, and 3. stand up and stretch from side to side.
  • Do strengthening exercises: pull your shoulder blades back and together.
